ZoomMate (formerly Zoom AI Companion)

ZoomMate is Zoom's AI assistant under a new name: the page that used to present Zoom AI Companion now presents ZoomMate, and Zoom's own site replaces the old name with the new one. Zoom describes it as an assistant that analyzes, learns and acts on your conversations to complete your work. It summarizes meetings, answers questions during them, captures notes through My Notes, and can be delegated tasks such as structuring an agenda, building a slide deck, generating a document, sending follow-ups or doing research. There are two tiers. ZoomMate Basic is free with a Zoom Workplace Basic account and comes with small monthly allowances: meeting summaries and in-meeting questions for 3 hosted meetings, 3 uses of My Notes, 20 AI queries and 10 workflow runs, on meetings capped at 40 minutes and 100 participants. The paid ZoomMate plan is priced per user per month, billed annually or monthly, and includes 2,200 AI credits per user each month, unlimited AI note-taking, custom meeting-summary templates, a custom agent builder, pre-built agents for Sales, IT, Marketing and Finance, agentic search across the web, Zoom and connected apps, deep research, and workflows that reach third-party tools. It suits teams that already work in Zoom Workplace, and — because My Notes also captures in-person, mobile and third-party meetings, and ZoomMate connects to Salesforce, Jira, Google Drive and OneDrive — teams whose work spans other tools too.
