Abacus.AI sells two things under one brand, and conflating them is the single most common mistake people make when researching it. ChatLLM is the consumer-facing product at chatllm.abacus.ai — one subscription that puts GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen and more than twenty other models behind a single interface, alongside image and video generation. It is paid. Basic runs $10 a month, introductory $7 for the first month, and includes 20,000 credits with three AI Agent conversations. Pro is $20 a month with 30,000 credits and unrestricted agent use. Standard text chat against frontier models is effectively unmetered; the credit pool governs expensive operations such as video generation. Abacus does not publish how far a credit goes, so the practical ceiling on heavy use is not knowable in advance. The Abacus.AI machine-learning platform is the separate, enterprise-oriented product: custom models on proprietary data, DeepAgent automation, time-series forecasting and personalisation engines, used in retail recommendations, financial fraud detection, healthcare prediction and supply-chain work. This is the product with a free developer tier for prototyping, and with custom enterprise pricing on request. So the answer to the question most people arrive with: there is no free ChatLLM tier. If you want the multi-model chat assistant, it starts at $10 a month. If you want to prototype machine-learning models, the developer tier on the platform side is where free access exists.
