Free Adobe Firefly AI powers professional image editing, generative fill, and design templates.
Editor's take: “Adobe's safe-for-commercial-use AI, integrated into Photoshop” — Sohail Akhtar
Free tier (verified July 2026): Free plan with Firefly AI features
How we checked: read directly from the vendor's own pricing page — source
The page said "completely free". Adobe's own page presents a 30-day free trial and states that billing begins when it ends. A free plan does exist; the absolute does not survive.
| What | What we found | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Free plan | Real. Adobe Express has a free plan and Firefly generation is included in it. | Confirmed |
| Firefly generation limits | Metered by a monthly credit allowance rather than offered without limit | Confirmed |
| Premium | Presented as a 30-day free trial. Adobe's page reads: "Billing begins when your free trial ends."That sentence is the reason "completely free" had to go — it is the vendor describing a charge. | Confirmed |
| Premium price | Not captured from the page we readWe are not quoting a number we did not see. | Not yet checked by us |
Editor verification notes
Checked by the TheToolsVerse Verification Desk — by reading the vendor's own published pages, not by testing the product in an account. Adobe Express can change prices at any time without notice. The date above is the last time we looked; if it looks old, treat every figure here as unconfirmed and check Adobe Express directly before paying.

✓ Free tier re-verified July 2026: Free plan with Firefly AI features
| Plan | Details |
|---|---|
| Free plan | Real. Adobe Express has a free plan and Firefly generation is included in it — but metered by a monthly credit allowance rather than offered without limit. Checked 8 September 2026. |
| Premium | Presented as a 30-day free trial; Adobe's page reads "Billing begins when your free trial ends." We did not capture a price from the page we read, so we quote none. |
Adobe Express has a real free plan, and Firefly generation is included in it under a monthly credit allowance rather than offered without limit. This page previously said it was completely free, which is not what Adobe's own page shows: adobe.com/express, read on 8 September 2026, presents a 30-day free trial of the premium plan and states that billing begins when the trial ends. We did not capture the premium price from that page, so we are not quoting one.
