Official ReviewOrchids is gone. It shut down on 18 July 2026, eleven days after Figma announced it had acquired the team, and by then the product had already been renamed Bud. There is nothing here to recommend or warn against any more.
This listing rated it 4.4 and called it the best full-stack AI app builder available, on the strength of first place on both App Bench and UI Bench. That verdict was defensible when it was written and it was still on this page seven weeks after the software stopped existing, which is the part worth owning. Every automated check we run passed it the whole time: orchids.app returned HTTP 200, the record did not contradict itself, the arithmetic held, no tier was quoted at two prices. A listing can satisfy every internal test and still be entirely false, because none of those tests asks whether the company is still trading.
