AI Assistant is a separate add-on, not part of Acrobat Pro. Adobe lists it at $1.99/month or $19.99/year on top of a base plan. Acrobat Pro itself is $19.99/month or $239.88/year and does NOT include AI Assistant. Acrobat Studio at $24.99/month or $299.88/year does include it, and is the cheaper route if you want both. A free trial of Acrobat Studio is offered, which covers the AI features. Students and teachers can add AI Assistant to a student Pro plan at the same $1.99/month. An earlier version of this page said AI Assistant required an Acrobat Pro subscription at $19.99/month, which understated the real cost of the combination. Checked 6 September 2026.
