Once a person has checked your submission, your tool gets its own permanent page on your launch date — in your words, labelled founder-submitted, kept out of search results, with a nofollow link to your site until an editor writes it up. You can optionally display our "Featured on TheToolsVerse" badge, which is one quick way to confirm you control the domain. You are free to add rel="nofollow" to that badge if you prefer — it still verifies your domain and your listing is unaffected either way. If you would rather not display a badge at all, email us from an address on your domain and we will verify you that way instead.
What are the requirements to get listed for free?

Do I get a backlink to my website?
Not on the free founder page. It links to your site with rel="nofollow" and is kept out of search results, because we publish it before an editor has reviewed the tool in depth. If an editor later writes it up as a full profile, that page links to you editorially. Paid placements and any listing we earn a commission from are marked rel="sponsored", as search engines require — we would rather be straight with you about that than quietly mislabel a link.
